Hi, I’m Heather!

I’m an editorial and portrait photographer currently based in the Atlanta area, and a mother of two.

My background in photojournalism shaped the way I see the world. I’m always searching for the story that needs to be told. That perspective guides every session. Whether working in natural light or the studio, I focus on honest connection, refined composition, and images that feel both effortless and intentional.

My career in photography has taken me from editorial work in Atlanta, to photojournalism and covering politics in DC and beyond. But becoming a mother shifted something in me. It slowed me down and made me notice the sacred details and the beauty in the ordinary.

Now, my focus is portraiture rooted in storytelling. I create images that feel both artful and deeply personal. I strive to create timeless photos that your family will cherish for generations.
